We LOVE Chinese food, and on Sundays we crave it hard!
Chinese food Sunday is definitely part of the dining culture in NYC, particularly within the Jewish community. Its roots go back to the day when businesses were closed on Sunday, but Chinese restaurants remained open. Plus the proximity between the Chinese and Jewish immigrant communities in NYC helped this connection develop.
